Coronavirus Information

The Coronavirus, or COVID-19, has turned the world upside-down for a lot of people.  However, there are resources being made available to help individuals during this difficult time.

While many employers have put their hiring on hold, companies deemed as "essential" are in dire need of hard-working individuals to fill temporary positions.  Although these are mostly temporary jobs, they can help ease the financial pressures being felt as a result of this crisis.

There are links below that can lead you directly to those jobs but if you need additional assistance, we can still help.  The OhioMeansJobs Lucas County center is currently closed to the public but staff is still available by phone to provide guidance and direct you to online resources to help get you ready.

Call us at 419-213-JOBS (5627) and you will be directed to someone who is able to help.

Please remember -- the staff at OhioMeansJobs Lucas County cannot correct problems with your unemployment or reset your PIN number.  That must be handled by staff from the State of Ohio.
